Type Approval enquiries and applications for all schemes must now be made through our self-service portal.

Register your organisation for a portal account for the first time
Login to the portal to review the status of an existing application
Login to the portal to submit a new application for:
– GB, UKNI, or UNECE Type Approval(s) and/or Provisional Type Approval(s)
– AES/BES Assessment
– Facilities Appraisals
Use portal sign-in to:
Submit a new application for:
– GB, UKNI, or UNECE Type Approval(s) and/or Provisional Type Approval(s)
– AES/BES Assessments
– Facilities Appraisals.
Review the status of your organisation’s existing Type Approval and Provisional Type Approval application(s)
Portal Sign-in
Use portal registration to:
Apply for a VCA portal account for your organisation for the first time (registration is required for each invoicing account)
If your supplied details are confirmed and accepted, you will receive an email notification to the supplied email address which applied for the account. This will provide an invite code for you to continue with your registration.
