Prepare for your new VCA login

We are now upgrading how customers sign in to VCA digital services.

As part of this change, you will move to a new single, secure VCA login. This will allow you to access multiple services, including Type Approval and Electronic Certificates of Conformity (eCoC), using one set of credentials, with more services to be added in future.

This note explains what you need to do to activate your new login.

What you need to do

You will receive an email across the weekend of 13–14 June with your temporary password and instructions on how to sign in to the new system. Instructions can also be found here.

  • When you sign in for the first time, you will be asked to set a new password
  • Once completed, you can continue using VCA services as normal

If you do not use the temporary password within 24 hours, it will expire. A new temporary password email will be sent automatically every 24 hours until it is used.

Important dates

  • There is no action for you to take until you receive your activation email
  • VCA services will be unavailable on 13 and 14 June while we complete the migration
  • Your temporary password and sign-in instructions will be sent across the weekend of 13–14 June.

What hasn’t changed

  • Existing applications and account data will remain the same
  • There is no change to how services operate

This improvement will help keep your account secure and support VCA in delivering more joined‑up digital services in future.
