Welcome to the VCA Portal

Type Approval enquiries and applications for all schemes must now be made through our self-service portal. 

Essential maintenance – there will be a portal outage on
Friday 26th April at 16:00 (BST) for 1 hour.

On this page you can:

Register your organisation for a portal account for the first time
Login to the portal to review the status of an existing application
Login to the portal to submit a new application for GB, UKNI, or UNECE Type Approval(s) and/or Provisional Type Approval(s).​
Use portal sign-in to:
Apply for GB, UKNI, or UNECE Type Approval(s) and/or Provisional Type Approval(s).
Review the status of your organisation’s existing Type Approval and Provisional Type Approval application(s)

Use portal registration to:
Apply for a VCA portal account for your organisation for the first time (registration is required for each invoicing account)
If your supplied details are confirmed and accepted, you will receive an email notification to the supplied email address which applied for the account. This will provide an invite code for you to continue with your registration.
