Type Approval enquiries and applications for all schemes must now be made through our self-service portal. 

The portal will be unavailable between 16:00 (BST) 12 June and 14:00 (BST) 14 June due to essential maintenance to strengthen our security. Registered users will have received communication about this change and details of any action required. Click here for more information

Please note:

From 1 September 2025, the Processing Fee charged for EU Approvals and Test Reports Only will be adjusted to EUR 320.

The CoP Price List has also been updated and will apply to all CoP applications submitted from the same date.

Login to the VCA Europe S.r.l. portal to submit a new application for:
– EU Type Approval(s)
– UNECE Type Approval and/or Provisional Type Approval(s)
– AES/BES Assessments
– Facilities Appraisals.
Please note for all applications, registration is required if you have not used our portal service previously.

Review the status of your organisation’s existing Type Approval and Provisional Type Approval application(s)

Apply for a VCA Europe S.r.l. portal account for your organisation for the first time (registration is required for each invoicing account)
Login details are issued via email pending account registration approvaIf your supplied details are confirmed and accepted, you will receive an email notification to the supplied email address which applied for the account. This will provide an invite code for you to continue with your registration.
