Technical Service Designations: First Tranche Announced

 

We’re pleased to announce that, following the review of the first tranche of GB type approval Technical Service applications, the following Technical Services have been recommended for designation, effective from 1 April 2026:

• ATEEL
• CETOC TS
• HORIBA MIRA
• IDIADA
• RDW
• SGS – TÜV Saar
• TÜV NORD
• TÜV Rheinland
• TÜV SÜD
• UTAC
• Vinçotte

 

Applications remain open

If the Technical Service you currently work with – or plan to work with in the future – is not listed above, we recommend contacting them directly to confirm their intention to apply for designation.

 

Important Reminder:
Test reports issued by EU-designated Technical Services will continue to be accepted for:

• M & N categories – if dated before 31 December 2026

• O category – if dated before 31 December 2027

 

This applies even after formal VCA designations come into effect.
