Expression of interest – GB Technical Services
The Vehicle Certification Agency (VCA) is currently considering the appointment of EU or UK based Technical Services to carry out testing for the new GB Type Approval Scheme.
The GB type approval Regulations for which Technical Services are being considered are:

- Vehicle access and Manoeuvrability (130/2012)
- Manufacturers Statutory Plate and VIN (19/2011)
- eCall Systems (2015/758)
- CO2 Emissions of Heavy-Duty Vehicles (2017/2400)
- Advanced Emergency Braking Systems (347/2012)
- Lane Departure Warning Systems (351/2012)
- Installation of Tyres (458/2011)
- Sound Level (540/2014)
- Emissions (EURO VI) Heavy Duty Vehicles (595/2009)

At this moment in time, we are trying to assess the potential level of interest European Technical Services have in becoming a VCA-designated Technical Service for the GB regulations listed.
