The Vehicle Certification Agency publishes details of all spending over £500 using a government procurement card (GPC) on a quarterly basis.

The VCA is the designated UK Type Approval Authority for automotive products. The nature of the work carried out by the Agency necessitates travel in the UK and overseas. Typically, this involves specialist engineering or auditing staff visiting manufacturing or third-party test facilities to test products or complete audits. It should be noted that in such cases, the cost of travel expenses are rechargeable to the customer in question.
