Alternative Download Option

You will be aware that for some years, VCA has provided this facility for users who would like to download the car fuel and CO2 database in Microsoft Access (mdb format). This page is not searchable and the address is only made available on request.
Over time, the number of requests for access to the data in a database format have reduced to the point where we need to consider whether continuing with this service is in the public interest.
Consequently, if you are a regular user of this service and would like to see it continue either in its current – or for that matter any other format, then please drop us a line (fuel@vca.gov.uk).
In the meantime, you will be able to download the most recent data in CSV format, from our main New Car Fuel Consumption and Emissions website here: https://carfueldata.vehicle-certification-agency.gov.uk/downloads/default.aspx
Please note that while there is no charge for downloading and using VCA Fuel Consumption and Emissions data, by choosing to download you are agreeing to the terms and conditions of use as set out on the Crown copyright page (opens in a new browser window).
